This year the Collegiate Cyclocross Nationals Championships were contested on Kansas City. The CSU Rams brought a strong team and ended up with another podium spot at a National Championship.

We have recently added three new listserves to help organize various groups within our Rams Cycling community. We have a new men's B and C group (the BC Bombers), and new women's group (wallopingwomen) and a new men's A group (the Awesomenauts).

Getting Rams Cycling email listserve is the key to staying informed about the team, events, rides, etc. It's very simple:
Step 1) open up whatever email program/provider you use
Step 2) create a new email
Step 3) type Ramscycling-subscribe@yahoogroups.com into the "to" section
Step 3) hit Send.
 
ta da! Now you get all the emails, and you can even send some yourself. Life is good.

We will have our first formal meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 3rd on the second floor of the Rec Center at 7pm. To find the room go in the main (south facing) doors of the Rec Center and head up the stairs to your right. You'll run right into it. For the rest of the year our meetings will be on Mondays at 8pm on the second floor of the Lory Student Center. Watch the listserve for specific rooms.

Join the CSU Rams Cycling Team for the first annual AnyBike Group Ride!
Where: Meet at the Lagoon on the west side of the Lory Student Center
When: 5:00pm Wednesday, August 27 (first week of school)
Why: Meet fellow cyclists, ask questions about the team, learn about collegiate riding and racing, compare battle scars, one-up each others stories, find true love, stay healthy etc etc...
What to Bring: ANY BIKE! Bring a unicycle if that's all you have. The Rams Cycling Team doesn't care how fast or far you ride, just that you ride. Come join us!
